Vote Bonus Short Story
As a thank you for voting for Space & Time on TWF, I've begun writing a bonus story for all of you!
This deals with the origins of the Children of the Wind, comprised of the Wind Brothers and the Wind Dancers (whom Jregli so deeply admires). It's a tale of new ideas, new beginnings, cultural conflict, civil war, and possibilities.
Pruy'thipms is a Yerbran man of no little Status who begins thinking about things. These musings lead him to strike out in a new direction, to the mixed reactions of his people. Yerbrans, both in his time and Jregli's, are not a religious or spiritual people. They recognize no higher power, nor do they feel a need for one. When Pruy'thipms starts wondering about things that necessitate the existence of a higher power, things become very interesting.
